Movie Review:: Jab Tak Hai Jaan:: Simply Delighted:: 3.5/5

Typical Yash Chopra movie !!! Watch it only if u have immense faith in Love and God... Jab Tak Hai Jaan leaves a soothing afterglow.

The theater was jam packed and there was lot of buzz around. All classy public unlike Salman's movie crowd.

Performances:

Shahrukh Khan: He is impressive in both the characters of charming musician lover-boy and heartless Army Officer. He ensures the character remains believable through out the movie.

Katrina: She acted really well compared to her previous movies. But her dance moves and beautiful cloths are more impressive. She plays the role of a British-Indian girl, who can do anything for love of her life. Due to her strong faith in God, she makes frequent promises to God before asking something... This brings the actual twist in the movie.

Anushka: It is to Anushka Sharma that Jab Tak Hai Jaan really belongs to. Turning in an infectiously energetic performance, she breathes life into the second half. Her acting and dancing skills are in perfect balance with her gorgeous looks. She plays a character of new generation who's 10-15 years younger than SRK and Katrina. Her bubly, careless hip-hop character is delight to watch.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in an extended cameo make for a pleasant watch; and the scene where Neetu Singh meets Katrina is exceptionally moving.

Direction: The movie is 3hour too long. First half could have been more tighter. Story is simple and full of romance. Many scenes are flawless. The most touching scene is when Kat meets her mom Neetu Kapoor. This scene will definitely bring tears in your eyes. Shot in exotic foreign locations, JTHJ gives us a beautiful and larger than life picture. The screenplay has many flaws but the movie is emotionally manipulative and mostly watchable. Yah Chopra truly a Legend ...

Music: Songs like 'Saas aayi', 'Isqh sava' and 'Heer' has awesome background score and apt for an over the top romantic movie. Overall good but not great background music by AR Rehman. Gulzar's lyrics are average.

So watch out for the most awaited romantic saga of the year "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", to watch some good stuffs of acting, emotion, direction and music.

Rating:3.5/5 Extra points for Yashji ...  Four cheers for this one!****
